The Valencian officer won 5 gold medals in swimming, winning the 50 and 100 breaststroke and three relay competitions.
Carlos Parra, representing the Picanya Local Police at the competition, declared that he was ‘extremely proud of the results obtained in Braga and of representing Picanya in such an important competition as this’. The officer, who was participating in the European Police and Fire Games for the first time, says that his next goal is to be able to compete next year in the world championship that will take place in the United States.
