A port policeman from Menorca wins ten swimming medals

APB (Balearic Islands Port Authority) port policeman Roberto Veiga has won up to ten medals out of eleven events in which he competed. Among the medals, there are five gold medals that place him at the top of the continent in these disciplines.

Veiga, a specialist in swimming and lifeguarding, managed to win the 1,500m freestyle, 4 x 100m freestyle, 50m dragging, 100m combined and 150m hurdles. To this haul must be added the silver medals in 400 m. freestyle and 50 m. butterfly and the bronze medals in 100 m. butterfly, 200 m. freestyle and 4 x 50 freestyle.
