José Antonio Rodríguez, police and athletic pride of Punta Umbría

The local police officer from Punta Umbría won gold in the 800 meters and bronze in the 400 meters of the European Police and Fire Games held in the Campo de Gibraltar.

Rodríguez, who conquered his metals in Algeciras, assures that these metals “reward effort and sacrifice”.
