Mexican boxers at the European Games in Vigo

The team from the Veracruz State Public Security Secretariat is using the facilities at the RHP Boxing Club to prepare for its participation in the European Police and Firefighters Games.

The Mexican sporting delegation consists of coach Martín Barrera Hernández and boxers Jesús Zinai Pérez Olivares, in the 67-kilo weight class, and Ulises Aníbal García Ortega, in the 63.5-kilo weight class. During their stay, they are continuing their training at the gym in Vigo and taking part in joint training sessions with local athletes and coaches.

The initiative also benefits from the collaboration of the Arkham Boxing Club in Cangas, strengthening the exchange between different clubs and turning Vigo, for a few days, into a meeting point for Galician and Mexican boxing.
