The winners in the climbing category

In the men’s division, Adrián Álvarez from Santiago won the bouldering event for climbers under 39, ahead of Jorge Jiménez and Tomas Brachmanski of Poland. In the 40-to-60 age group, Alberto Nasarre from Huesca took first place, with Juan Ferrer in second and Óscar Mico in third. In the over-60 category, the medal went to José Francisco, the sole participant. In the Rope Climbing category, the results were exactly the same. There was also a combined podium, based on the results from both Bouldering and Rope Climbing. Adrián Álvarez took gold again, with silver going to Alberto Nasarre and bronze to Jorge Jiménez.

In the women’s division, with only two participants, Jennifer Bonnet of France won, finishing ahead of Laura Masana in both bouldering and rope climbing.
