Quique Herrero was third in the road race and David Rubio took gold in the time trial, an event in which Míchel Pascual won silver, in addition to another second place in the sprint criterium and bronze in the time trial.
The event, which is being held for the ninth time, brings together nearly 3,000 athletes who are also members of law enforcement, security and emergency forces from 30 European countries, as well as Brazil and Mexico, the guest nations at this year’s edition. There are 40 sporting disciplines in competition, including specialities for firefighters and police officers, including cycling, whose road calendar ends this Wednesday with the endurance and speed criteriums.
