Policewoman from Seville won 8 gold medals at the Games

Agent Carmen Bueno, now stationed in Valencia, already won six medals this summer at the World Police and Fire Games held in Winnipeg (Canada).

Now, at the European Games held in Torrevieja (Alicante), she has won gold in 1500m, 800m, 4x400m mixed relay, Ind.Fem. aquathlon, Mixed Eq. aquathlon, Eq. aquathlon Women, Ind.Fem. 5K Night Race and Mixed Eq. 5K Night Race.

Born in Seville 42 years ago, Carmen Bueno has been a national police officer since 2007. She is currently stationed at the Police Intervention Unit (UIP) in Valencia. In 2016 she was participating in some European games of police and firefighters, which were held in Hinojos (Huelva), where she won second place in cross country.
