The Aranda de Duero Firefighters’ Sports Association at the European Games

The Aranda de Duero Firemen’s Sports Association will have an important representation in this unique competition which will bring together professionals from the 27 countries that make up the European Union.

With a total of 15 modalities ranging from athletic events – javelin, shot put and discus -, swimming, racket sports, skill sports, ball sports – handball -, sports with weapons, the competitors will also have to face tests specific to their profession, such as ladder races, hose races and meeting, among others.

The Arandina delegation, led by the municipal fire chief, Julián Rasero, will also include nine other experienced firefighters and sportsmen from the municipal park.
