Albacete City Council receives the 12 representatives in the Games

The Mayor of Albacete, Manuel Serrano, has wished many sporting successes to the 11 Local Police Officers and the City Council Firefighter who will represent our city in the X edition of the European Police and Firefighters Games which will take place from the 11th to the 20th of this month in the Portuguese town of Braga, during the reception offered to them this morning in the Plenary Hall of the Town Hall, accompanied by the Councillor for Safety, Alberto Reina, the Councillor for Sports, Francisco Villaescusa, other members of the Municipal Corporation, the Chief Intendant of the Albacete Local Police, Diego López, and the head of the Fire and Rescue Service, Ismael Pérez.

Manuel Serrano has been convinced that the policemen and firemen of Albacete who participate in these games, specifically in the modalities of Triathlon-Duathlon, Police Biathlon, Athletics and Crossfit, will give the stature and will bring back medals for the daily effort they make to combine their work with training, also valuing their important vocation of public service.
